  "I'm tired, Ms. Mira" the Princess said in a shacking tone. Mirajane frowned with confusion and sadness that the tingle she had longed missed in Lucy's eyes had again vanished. Any words which she had to comfort and resolve her distress died the instant the Princess laid in her bed, giving Mirajane her back. "Good Night." Lucy dismissed so softly Mira almost missed it. Not her place to question, as due to the King's orders, Mirajane reluctantly dropped it making her exist wards the door. The light from the candled hallway sipped in through the doorway as Mira lingered her gaze on the huddled form hidden beneath the silks and cottoned sheets. Never had the room seemed so dark as the Nanny silently closed the door behind her.

  Mirajane swore to herself then and there that it would be the last and final time she left the Prin--- Lucy in darkness. The King be damned.

  Lucy finally braved a shuddering sniffle that had lunged in her throat. In the dark she could imagine the roar of the dragon. The flames and screams of the villagers, and the horrors of battle. It was not a new story, but in such a short time, the face of the villain had changed drastically. In place of a cold gaze of an evil scaled monster with bloods of people pooling from its sharp fangs, now stood the scaled yet hopeful, wonder filled silted eyes, a fanged but bright sincere smile, and messy horned hair, all belonging to a strange boy.
                                                                       
                                                                   The Dragon was the Villain...

Sniffling she reached for the hidden treasure beneath her second pillow. Evidence of her inner most conflict. Sadly she ran her fingers over the smooth but silk cotton like scarf. It felt of nothing of which she had ever known or seen with its scaled like appearance. Was it scales?

  "So that's how you humans see us" came a familiar causing the Princess to jump. Her eyes widening at the silhouetted figure on balcony. His blazing eyes seeming to glow through his pink bangs, his hurt causing her to twitch back as the horror dawned on her. None need speak it. He had heard it all.

 
 KA-BAM!! Natsu takes this accession head on. There should only be three more pages to Chapter 3! I have them doodled.   Hope you like it.
